Image of the month/FEBRUARY

On the last few years a pair of Herring gulls wintering on the Laurentia lake. Constantly

flying over the great number of ducks, hunting debilitate or injuried birds. The low

temperatures of these days have largely frozen the surface of the lake pushing the birds

moving into the last spaces of free water. Unintentionally the great concentration of the

mallards helps the hunt of the herring gulls.
